Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
Deep, well extracted colour and red berry fruits on the nose. Hints of creamy dark chocolate, liquorice and quince jelly. Balanced palate with some coffee and toffee character. A good dash of fruit and wood tannin with a pleasing follow through.

Must treatment: Cold maceration for 4 days
Fermentation: SST Tank
Maturation: 12 months in French oak
20% new, 80% second fill
Bottled: August 2011
Release: October 2016
Production: 11’500 bottles
Aging potential: 8 years
