There is a distinctive yellow apple, pineapple, alongside with notes of green melon and lime. Beautifully structured on the palate, bursting with fresh yellow and white fruit flavours. The wine finishes subtly, yet distinct with great minerality and citrus flavours.

BUY OUR WINE

Welcome to Kyburg's BUY OUR WINE shop. Kyburg Boutique Wine Estate is situated in the picturesque Devon Valley only 10 minutes outside of Stellenbosch. We are dedicated to attention to detail, from pruning to bottling, which we believe will find its expression in the quality and fruitiness of our full bodied wines. Kyburg follows the Classic French tradition of wine making, low production per ha, lately in controlled open fermentation and a high percentage of new oak barrels, giving the wines great structure, finesse and a complexity with a good aging potential.

Kyburg-Shiraz

Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
A wine with a deep red, rich concentrated colour. On the nose are black berries, liquorice and coffee bean notes. As this full bodied wine opens up and develops, one is left with a long lasting spicy finish on the palate. Very good use of oak results in a superb balance between acidity, fruit and wood tannins.
